This and That
My kids are avid readers, but we are currently social distancing due to Covid-19. Schools and libraries are closed, and we are left with what books we have in the house! It's been over 30 days in this unique situation, so I decided to create a fun challenge for them to mix things up.
Traditions are EVERYTHING, especially during the holiday season. Elf on the Shelf is fun and all, but I didn't want the pressure on me to be creative and move it every night. I also wanted to do something a little more meaningful.
Enter the Kindness Elves! They bring an activity card every morning for something we will do that day. You can make it be from Santa, but my kids know it is just mom and love it just as much.
Notepads make a great personalized gift and are very inexpensive to make. Think of the teachers or co-workers in your life! This is my go to Christmas gift or Teacher Appreciation gift. Attach some nice pens or a gift card, and it's thoughtful and usable!
You can also take the same idea and make a receipt pad or order form pad for children's pretend play! I have a receipt printable in my Farmer's Market Learning Activity Bundle (coming to the website soon - get on my mailing list below to be notified!)
