My kids are avid readers, but we are currently social distancing due to Covid-19. Schools and libraries are closed, and we are left with what books we have in the house!
It's been over 30 days in this unique situation, so I decided to create a fun challenge for them to mix things up. They started on it as soon the printer had spit it out, and enjoyed it very much!
My son actually changed to his pajamas and got in bed in the middle of the day so he could check off those boxes!
It's the only room in the house with no windows and can get completely dark!
My kids thought reading in the bathtub was hilarious.
Get Reading!
Encourage your child to mark off every box! I didn't let them double count a book for multiple squares. 16 boxes and 16 books for us, but that is up to you! If you don't have a lot of book options at home right now, you could allow it. Add a prize (new book, special treat, etc.) once they finish it if you'd like.
Reading is powerful and forms such a bond and connection with a caregiver. Make a point to read together every day!

This is so fun! I’m a school librarian. Would it be okay to post this on my website as an extra challenge for my students?
