For Early Childhood Educators
Technology is always changing, but the developmental needs of children have not.
A classroom is a unique and wonderful environment for encouraging play that kids can't get from a screen, or even at home! Teachers and daycare providers get the opportunity to foster connection and create a place where kids will thrive.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand the critical window of brain growth in the first 5 years and how screen time is replacing crucial activities for development.
- Feel empowered to preserve play time and believe that THEY are the magic in this foundational stage. The relationships and connections they make with children cannot be replaced.
- Discover simple ideas for learning through play without having to spend a lot of money or time setting them up - from dramatic play set ups to STEM explorations to games to get them moving.

Hands-on Activity Option
You can choose to try out a few activities along with the presentation.
